Delete your Lingather Talk account

Request deletion without the app

1. Email support@rockhammerlabs.com with the subject “Delete my Lingather Talk account”.
2. Tell us whether you used iPhone or Android, and whether you connected Apple or Google in Talk. If available, include your Talk account identifier or a store order identifier to help locate the account.
3. We will explain the ownership verification needed before deleting anything. An email address or order identifier alone does not authorize deletion. If we cannot identify or verify an anonymous account, we will explain the limitation and available recovery steps.

Never send your password, sign-in code, payment card details, private keys or conversation recordings. A support request does not delete data immediately.

Delete from the app

Open Settings → Delete Talk account and follow the confirmation. If you linked Apple or Google, confirm that identity. Active conversation usage must finish settling first.

What is deleted or retained

Account deletion removes login and device links, invalidates account access, and removes registered notification devices, pending notifications and account-linked optional experiment records. Remaining Talk points and access to the account are forfeited.

Purchase, refund and usage accounting records and a pseudonymous marker preventing repeated trial grants are retained for accounting, dispute handling, security and applicable legal obligations. These records are not removed merely because an account is deleted; the applicable retention depends on the record and obligation. Contact us for details concerning your records.

Conversation history is stored on your devices. Deleting within the app clears history on that phone. A request made by email cannot remotely erase local history on a phone or another device. You can clear history separately in Settings without deleting your account.

Optional account-linked purchase analytics are normally retained for up to 180 days and removed on account deletion. Resetting Firebase analytics locally does not itself erase reports already processed by Google; include any related privacy request in your email.

Subscriptions and refunds

Cancel any renewing subscription in your Apple or Google Play subscription settings before requesting deletion. Account deletion is not a store refund request. This process applies to Lingather Talk and does not delete a separate Lingather Live account.
