Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Lingather browser extension and website (the "Service") operated by Shenzhen Jiantao Technology Co., Ltd. ("us", "we", or "our").
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Subscriptions
Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis (such as monthly or annually).
3. Lifetime Licenses and One-time Purchases
We may offer lifetime licenses for specific products, such as Lingather Lens. These are one-time purchases that grant you perpetual access to the software version as defined at the time of purchase. Future major updates or additional AI services may require separate purchases or subscriptions as specified on the pricing page.
4. Data Privacy & Local Processing
Lingather Lens utilizes on-device AI technology. When using these tools, your media content is processed locally on your hardware. Lingather does not collect, store, or transmit your processed video or audio files to our servers, ensuring your maximum privacy.
5. Payment & Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
6. User Content
You are responsible for the audio content you process using Lingather. We do not claim ownership of your content, but you grant us a license to process it solely for the purpose of providing the transcription and translation service.
7. Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Lingather be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
