Refund Policy

At Lingather, we strive to provide the best AI tools for your workflow. We offer different refund policies depending on whether you purchase a recurring subscription or a lifetime license.

1. Subscription Services (SaaS)

For our recurring subscription plans (Lingather Pro, Team), we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee.

If you are not completely satisfied with your subscription for any reason, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. No questions asked.

2. Lifetime Licenses (Lingather Lens)

Lingather Lens is downloadable desktop software with a "try-before-you-buy" model. We strongly encourage you to use the Free Trial to verify OCR accuracy and hardware compatibility (GPU/OS) before purchasing.

Because a fully functional trial is available, we generally do not grant refunds for "change of mind" once a license key has been delivered.

However, we will issue a full refund within 7 days of purchase if:

  • The software fails to run on your machine due to a technical error; AND
  • Our support team is unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe.

* Upon issuing a refund, your license key will be immediately deactivated.

3. How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund, please contact our support team at contact@lingather.ai with your order number or the email address used for the purchase.

4. Refund Processing

Once your request is approved, the refund will be processed immediately. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take 5–10 business days for the funds to appear in your account.

5. Exceptions

  • Refund requests made after the specified window (14 days for Subscriptions, 7 days for Lifetime Licenses) will not be accepted.
  • Subscription renewals are generally non-refundable unless requested within 48 hours of the renewal charge.

6. Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
